No rest November! Exhibition dates for your diary
November is a busy month for IDL, with our team showcasing the Fastlane and Door Detective product ranges at exhibitions in Europe and the UK, and with Smarter Security, exhibiting in the USA.
First up is Expoprotection at Porte de Versailles in Paris, 6-8 Nov 2018 (stand C51). We’re pleased to be exhibiting alongside other international specialists and the most innovative equipment and solutions in the market, with the aim of protecting employees, premises, data and the working environment.
We’ll be demonstrating our Glassgate 150 turnstile which, thanks to its elegant look and functional operation, was received with great success in markets worldwide when it launched back in 2011 and remains our most popular entry level solution today.
The Glassgate 300, winner of the Good Design Award in 2013, is one of our best-selling, higher security products and will also be on stand at Expoprotection. Available in four different heights and with an optional locking brake, the glass barriers on the Glassgate 300 provide a clear deterrent for unauthorised users and ensure that they can’t be pushed open when in a ‘closed’ mode, yet still maintains sleek and streamlined styling.
For those seeking a superior level of security and detection beyond the lobby or reception area, the Door Detective Plus reinforces access control systems by monitoring the throughput of open, access-controlled doorways, corridors and passageways. Visitors to Expoprotection will see how this additional level of security and detection helps to prevent both unauthorised entrants and tailgating.
On 14-15 November, Fastlane turnstiles will be on the Smarter Security booth (336) at ISC East in New York. Our premium partner and exclusive distributor in the Americas, Smarter Security will be highlighting our bespoke capabilities, which prove popular in this market.
Alongside a striking bronze Glassgate 300 and an elegant white Glassgate 150, visitors to ISC East will see a highly customised 400MA unit in action. Our top of the range Fastlane Plus barrier arm product occupies a minimal footprint and provides maximum aesthetic flexibility, making it a great choice for reception areas or lobbies where space is limited but an effective and attractive access control measure is still required.
The end of November sees us back on home soil, exhibiting at International Security Expo, 28-29 November, at London Olympia, stand F51. Formerly UK Security Expo, this year’s event has a focus on ‘evolving security through innovation’ so we’re pleased to be demonstrating our latest product integration – the Fastlane Glassgate 400 with integrated MorphoWave™ Compact, the latest addition to the biometric access control range by IDEMIA.
This new touchless 3D fingerprint reader allows authorised users to gain access with a simple wave of the hand, providing the latest in frictionless entrance control. Fusing these technologies results in little or no dwell time for users, with no need for them to touch anything to gain access.
Also on stand will be the Glassgate 155, which is based on the design of the popular Glassgate 150 model but offers additional security and lane width options, and the Door Detective Plus, providing additional door security with Ethernet integration which will be demonstrated with the Fastlane Connect applications, FastCmd, FastCount and FastCam.
