Mechanical Design Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team, full-time in our office in Feltham, Middlesex.

You will be an experienced engineer with a proven track record of working within a mechanical design capacity and can create conceptual, detailed designs and assembly drawings for a wide range of mechanical components such as sheet metal enclosures, jigs and fixtures, and machined components.

Experience with electro-mechanical components would be advantageous but not essential.

You will be in a fast-paced environment working on full product lifecycle design, including New Product Development, bespoke designs to meet customer needs, and production and sales support. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will work closely with other departments across the business. You will have ownership of your own projects and be expected to manage them, while simultaneously working on other tasks to support the requirements of the company.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault
Professional use of FEA analysis as well as mechanical calculations
Project Management
Enthusiastic and Driven personality
Attention to Detail and Quality
Microsoft Office software suite
