Showcasing the future of integrated entrance control at SCTX
Visitors to Security & Counter Terror Expo next month are invited to step inside a fully integrated security operations demonstration centre, to see the latest innovations and techniques in operation across all main security verticals. Held in London on 6-7 March, we’re delighted to have been invited to take part in this Integrated Security Showcase at SCTX, the UK’s leading national security event for those tasked with protecting people, assets and nations from terrorism and other serious security threats. As part of the Showcase, we’ll be demonstrating the Fastlane Glassgate 300, one of our top-selling products.
Available as a standard product, but also capable of seamless integration with every known access control and whole building management systems, the Glassgate 300 demonstrated will feature an integration with FaceSentinel – Aurora’s world leading facial recognition system – and a passport reader. This unit is designed for applications where the highest levels of security and reliability are demanded, such as border control at airports.
The Fastlane Glassgate 300 features dual glass swing barriers, the size of the glass panels are supplied for either a standard lane width of 660mm, or for a wider width of 914mm to provide disabled access compliant to the DDA or ADA regulations. Available in four different heights and with an optional locking brake, the glass barriers on the Glassgate 300 provide a clear deterrent for unauthorised users and ensure that they can’t be pushed open when in a ‘closed’ mode. In the event of a forced entry, a 2-stage alarm response is triggered, sounding an audible alarm followed by a secondary output for a higher security response.
Despite providing a physical and psychological deterrent, the Glassgate 300 maintains sleek and streamlined styling which is vital to satisfy the design needs of our architect customers and, in addition to functional integrations, there are a number of ways in which you can influence the final visual aesthetic of the turnstiles with a wide variety of finish options available.
The Glassgate 300 also features Fastlane Connect, the ethernet connectability programme from IDL, which allows a fast and secure way to monitor and manage entrance control operation remotely, whether this is onsite or from any location globally, via a secure web-based portal.
