Next month we’re exhibiting at Security & Counter Terror Expo, the UK’s leading national security event for those tasked with protecting people, assets and nations from terrorism and other serious security threats. Held in London on 3-4 May, we’ll be joining over 350 other exhibitors to showcase our products to the 10,000+ attendees who are looking to get an understanding of how to better protect against current threats.

We’ll also be showcasing the Fastlane Glassgate 400, which provides the highest level of physical deterrent in the Fastlane range.
The Glassgate 300, winner of the Good Design Award in 2013, features a microcontroller capable of handling up to 10 million decisions a second. It is the knowledge gained through this technology which enables our turnstiles to be ‘opinion-forming’ – vital in being able to distinguish between a pedestrian with pull-along luggage and someone attempting to tailgate. Utilising the latest multi beam infrared technology ensures that only one pedestrian passes through per authorisation, preventing any tailgaters from gaining unauthorised access.
Available in four different heights and with an optional locking brake, the glass barriers on the Glassgate 300 provide a clear deterrent for unauthorised users and ensure that they can’t be pushed open when in a ‘closed’ mode. Despite providing a physical and psychological deterrent, the Glassgate 300 maintains sleek and streamlined styling which is vital to satisfy the design needs of our architect customers. Additional features include standard casings in a brushed stainless steel finish, with options for other materials on request, and Black Quartz Corian inserts on the tops, to facilitate concealed or surface mounted access control card readers.
Developed to integrate seamlessly with access control, CCTV and whole building management systems, the Glassgate 300 also features Fastlane Connect, the ethernet connectability programme from IDL, which allows a fast and secure way to monitor and manage entrance control operation remotely, whether this is onsite or from any location globally, via a secure web-based portal.

Also on display will be the very popular Glassgate 400, which features 1.8m of toughened safety glass doors and optional locking brakes, offering the highest level of security available in the Fastlane range.
