Fastlane to showcase its united approach at the Global Security Exchange 2018

From data breaches to drones and cyber-attacks to terror attacks, today’s security threats are evolving at an unprecedented rate and increasingly require a united approach from the full spectrum of security solutions to mitigate risk. Recognising this need for an integrated approach, earlier this year ASIS International changed the name of its annual security conference from the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits to the Global Security Exchange (GSX), to encourage even greater knowledge sharing across verticals and between security solutions providers. Taking place between 23-27 September at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, this year’s event looks set to provide visitors and exhibitors a best-in-class immersive environment for education, networking and business building, and we’re pleased to be involved.

If you’re one of the 22,000 security professionals planning to attend, you’ll find our Fastlane and Door Detective products on the Smarter Security booth (1043). Our exclusive partner in the USA, Smarter Security will demonstrate how our pedestrian entrance control solutions can help organisations to better protect their people, assets and operations against modern security threats.

Visitors to the Smarter Security booth will see live demonstrations of the products our customers have trusted for over 30 years, as well as some innovative new product integrations developed in response to several emerging trends we’ve noticed over the past few months, including integrated weapons detection.

New weapons detection integration helps to secure educational environments

At ISC West in Las Vegas earlier this year, our team received enquiries from a greater number of college and school representatives, requesting information about how physical security solutions can help tackle gun crime in these environments. In response to this, we developed our latest integrated solution with this specifically in mind – the Glassgate 200 featuring the Garrett weapons detection arch.

Having been so well received when unveiled at IFSEC in June, we’ll be demonstrating this product integration on stand at GSX too, and we expect it to attract a lot of attention from security and facilities managers representing educational institutions as well as healthcare facilities and churches. This is just one of the many innovative integrations you can expect to see on the Smarter Security booth at GSX. We’d love to meet you in person in September but, if you’re not able to attend GSX, you can call the Smarter Security team on 1.800.943.0043, or call our team on +44 (0)20 8890 5550 or email info@fastlane-turnstiles.com to find out more about how our latest pedestrian entrance control solutions can help you to deliver your security strategy.
