Mundays 5K 2018

Fastlane running ahead, and not just in entrance control!

We’re pleased to once again be taking part in the annual Mundays Charity 5k Run. Last year the charity run saw a record entry of 280 runners and we are hoping to help raise those numbers even further for this year’s event.

This will be the 12th annual event, supporting Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, which provides free end of life care for adult patients in Surrey, Middlesex and South West London. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday 8 May and sees the run moving to a new location – the historic 18th century landscape gardens of Painshill Park in Cobham.

Mundays who host the event is a firm of solicitors that IDL has worked with for many years, and they have been involved with the Hospice since its inception twelve years ago. We have been supporting their efforts to raise money for this amazing charity for the past six years by donating £500 to the annual run, contributing to the £58 000 raised in total across the years, and entering a team of runners.

We are putting our very best on the start line this year with the likes of Derek Huff (Managing Director), Shane Naish (Operations Director), Paul Taylor (Electronics & Software Design Manager) and Karim Hemdane (Regional Sales Manager, EMEA). Also joining the team is Charlotte Waters (Director of Morton Waters, our content and PR agency).

Derek said: “We love taking part in these types of team events as it gives us a chance to give back to the wider community. Businesses often forget the role they play in the communities where they are based, and I think it’s important to do what we can to provide local support.”

This year’s team is a mix of seasoned runners and those who are newer to the sport. We want as many people as possible to get involved. There is no need to be a professional runner, it is the participation that is important, so if you’re one of our partners or customers and would like to join our team, please enter the run at https://register.primoevents.com/ps/event/Mundays5KRun
