Fast by name, fast by nature! Fastlane sets the pace both in and out of the office
In their professional capacity, the IDL team are known for creating Fastlane turnstiles capable of processing 60 people per minute. Outside of work, the IDL team also like to move at pace, taking part in the annual Mundays Charity 5K Run!
A record entry of over 280 runners took part in the 11th annual event, supporting Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, which provides free end of life care for adult patients in Surrey, Middlesex and South West London. Joining other local businesses, running clubs, families, clients and contacts of Mundays at Bushy Park on Wednesday 9th May 2018, a team from IDL took part in the race and donated £500 in support of the hospice, contributing to the £58,000 funds raised for the charity over the past 11 years.
Mundays – the firm of solicitors IDL work with – are proud to have been involved with the Hospice since its inception, and IDL has been supporting this excellent cause for the past five years.
Shane Naish, avid runner and Operations Director at IDL, commented: “It’s always great to take part in team events, especially when it helps to raise money for such a great charity, which provides end of life care and support for adult patients in our area. Our team this year was a mix of those who run regularly and a few new comers to the sport, and I’m pleased to report that everyone crossed the line in decent time. Perhaps it was the promise of delicious cake at the finish line! We look forward to continuing to support this great event in future years.”
