New Fastlane products and integrations on show in London, Dallas and Stockholm
September is looking to be a busy month for the Fastlane team as they showcase the company’s integrated product range at a number of trade shows in the UK, the US and Europe.
On stand at a couple of the events will be one of the newest additions to the Glassgate range, the Glassgate 150 Plus. This is an extended version of the Glassgate 150 with an increased lane width of 1000mm. The enclosure of the 150 Plus comes in a brushed stainless-steel finish, with a black pedestal top facilitating concealed card readers.
1. PropTech Connect
PropTech Connect takes place 6 to 7 September 2023, at the InterContinental Hotel – The O2, London.
Billed as the largest in Europe to focus on proptech (applying technology, including security technology, to drive improvements for those who own or manage real estate). IDL is proud to be a listed sponsor and will be exhibiting with four lanes of security turnstiles, as well as a tabletop display.
The Glassgate 150 is a perennial favourite among our Speedgates. This compact unit, featuring pedestal-height barriers, is our most popular entry-level security solution. Alongside this model will also be a Glassgate 300 with 1.7m high glass.
2. GSX
GSX, the Global Security Exchange runs 11-13 September 2023 in Dallas, Texas.
GSX is always on the calendar for IDL. As usual, we will be exhibiting with our North American distribution partner, Smarter Security. This year, though, IDL will have a double presence at this event, as we will also be supporting Alcatraz AI, who offer AI-powered, facial recognition solutions for access control.
Our Fastlane and Door Detective units are known for their ability to integrate with any industry-standard biometric or other authentication reader, but this is the first time we will be working with Alcatraz AI as exhibition partners. Their innovative, all-in-one facial scanner is called the Rock.

Booth 2608: Alcatraz AI will also be showing a Glassgate 150 in powder-coated white with SmarterMount and Alcatraz’s Rock biometric integration.
3. International Security Expo
The International Security Expo at London’s Olympia between 26 to 27 September is a familiar fixture on the security calendar.
The event is one of the world’s leading government and end-user security events and at the show, visitors will be able to view a Glassgate 300 alongside our new Glassgate 150 Plus.
A Door Detective will also be on display, this time with both anti-sidegating and also new partner Alcatraz AI’s Rock authenticator. Visit Fastlane on stand E22.
4. Sectech
The venue for Sectech Sweden is Stockholmsmässan. Head to Stockholm, 24 to 25 October where Fastlane will be supporting Alcatraz AI on Stand 06:39.
The show is one of the biggest events for suppliers and security installers in the Nordic region and visitors will be able to view our Glassgate 150, integrated with a facial scanner from Alcatraz.
