Glasswing: Tailgater Stopped
This clip is designed to show how Fastlane Glasswing can deter a tailgater. In the movie clip you will see 1 authorised person enter. Then an unauthorised person tries to follow in behind the authorised person i.e. ‘tailgate.’ This generates an alarm scenario, and even though the gap between the 2 persons is small the glass barriers close to stop the unauthorised person.

Glasswing: Safety
This clip is shows how Fastlane Glasswing safety beams are designed to ensure the barriers work safely. In the movie clip you will see 1 authorised person enter then an unauthorised person tries to follow in behind the authorised person i.e. ‘tailgate.’ The Glasswing realizes it can not safely close the barriers in front of the person and in fact the barriers would probably hit the person so they do not move and an audible alarm is created instead. This generates an alarm scenario, and as the ‘tailgater’ is following very closely to the authorised person just an alarm sounds and the glass barriers stay open as a safety measure, to avoid injury.

As the person exiting approaches the barriers, the system senses them and they retract into the pedestal to allow them through.
