Fastlane Entrance Control
The Fastlane product from IDL was first made in 1992 as
a custom solution for a company who wanted entrance control
in the form of an access control gate. Integrated Design
Ltd has developed the Fastlane Entrance Control range to
meet the changing requirements of the modern building environment.
The wide range of entrance control solutions that Fastlane
offers is designed to meet the different balance of security,
convenience and aesthetics your access control gate requirements
may have.
The concept for entrance control by using Fastlane as an
access control gate is to limit access to authorised persons
only. In the event of unauthorised access an alarm is triggered
by the Fastlane and that can trigger CCTV or other security
measures. This is to ensure your access control gate allows
only 1 person per authorised card and as such ensures effective
entrance control.
The Fastlane design concept of an access control gate allows
a flexible approach to providing effective entrance control
in areas where previously security had been desirable but
the associated aesthetic implications had been unwelcome
or prohibitive.
